This might be the best live video I've ever seen holy shit! Get Disowned is still the best Hop Along album imo. Just something so endearing about the rawness of the production, the surprising lyrical depth, and the somewhat winding song structures. Don't get me wrong, the other albums are great too, but were more measured in their approach. Tighter songs, better production, hookier melodies. Still, there's something magical about the "fuck it throw everything at the wall" style of Get Disowned. Balls out, no compromises indie rock.

this crowd was so alive and it makes me so unbelievably happy! basically every other performance of hop along that i see that has an audience, they seem so dead. to hear them so into the music is just thrilling!

This is a video of band in their prime, putting everything they have into the music and having fun playing it. I wish I knew about Hop Along back in 2015. The band compliments Francis so well and I prefer the faster heavier songs. The drummer is also amazing

I cry every time I listen to this song, Frances Quinlan is everything I want to be. They pour their heart out into their lyrics and their songs are more like diary entries, and crowds of people know all the words and sing along, and it makes me so emotional

god I cried when the chorus came, just, everybody singing back to her, it's just so powerful

EXCELLENT! Don't worry about more views. Most people are musical LEMMINGS listening to Beyoncé because the MEDIA tells them to. NO INDEPENDENT THOUGHT or exploring new music. Hop Along has a bright future. This is one of the few YT videos that capture how great they are live. Can't wait for the follow-up to Painted Shut.
